Daddy, Please Understand Me

INTRODUCTION
Daddy, Please Understand Me: Temperament  /Elements

If a man does not keep pace with his companions,
Perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer.
Let him step to the music which he hears,
However measured or far away.
—Henry David Thoreau

It is my endeavor to make the book user-friendly so that Daddy, Please Understand Me helps people find their temperament and personality style. Portraits of temperament and character types are simple and accurate. The book’s essential message: that members of families and institutions are OK, even though they are fundamentally different from each other, and that they would all do well to appreciate their differences and give up trying to change others into copies of themselves.
Now: Daddy, Please Understand Me
For the past twelve years I have continued to investigate personality differences -- to refine the  theory of the four temperaments and to define the facets of character that distinguish one from another. My findings form the basis of Daddy, Please Understand Me. One major theme in the book is how the temperaments differ in the intelligent roles they are most likely to develop. Each of us,  has four kinds of intelligence -- tactical, diplomatic,  logistical and strategic -- though only one of the four, interests us far more than the others, and thus gets far more practice than the rest. Like four suits in a hand of cards, we each have a long suit and a short suit in what interests us and what we do well, and fortunate indeed are those whose work matches their skills.
In the book you find Four- Temperament Sorter, a new short questionnaire that identifies one's basic temperament and then ranks one's second, third, and fourth choices. Share this new sorter with friends and family, and get set for a lively and fascinating discussion of temperament/ personal styles.
In astrology we know four elements, Fire, Air, Water and earth. Air rules the signs, Gemini, Libra and Aquarius; Fire rules, Aries, Leo and Sagittarius, Water rules,Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces; Earth rules, Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. Thus each element has three signs. These three signs belonging to a particular element are the three shades of the particular element, enabling us to understand the finer traits and variants. By having command on elements/ tattwa the ‘Tattwavetta’ becomes most powerful and can manipulate fate to advantage if he can’t change fate.
These elements are known as Humours or personality types or function types or psychology types. To be an expert astrologer one must read theology, psychology, logic, physics, chemistry, biology and botany etc to decipher the symbolism used in Astrology.

GENESIS OF LIFE- EMBRYOLOGY

Genesis of Life

92 elements are found naturally in The EARTH which were grouped by Mendel into EIGHT GROUPS. He propounded "THE OCTAVE THEORY". All the elements of a group have common group properties, through which they could be identified in an unknown mixture or compound. These elements are grouped into THREE GROUPS:

1. METALS
2. METALLOIDS: Transitional groups of elements
3. NONMETALS
Our ancient sages grouped these elements into five groups known as  “PANCHA TATTWA” and propounded that all human beings, animals and vegetables are Panch Mahabhautic in origin.
LIFE begins from a single cell formed by fusion of the SPERM from Male and OVA from Female. This single fertilized cell divides in to THREE
GERMINAL LAYERS:-

2.

3.

These Germinal layers multiply and specialize into tissues, organs and systems. All the systems function in perfect harmony irrespective of diversity and complexity governed by some natural laws. These natural laws are the same which govern all the inanimate,  animates and animals.
It is said that   “YAT PINDE TAT BRAHMANDE".  This means that all that takes place in a cell is expressed in the individual formed from it. Here the cell is called “PIND" and the complete organism “BRAHMAND". This leads us to a conclusion that "The Human Body" is governed by the same Laws which govern "Brahmand" i.e. the Cosmos.
What we call "THE PIND" is formed by all the five groups of elements  and their molecules found on this "EARTH".  They are present in the protoplasm and the nucleus of the cell which is the basic structural and functional unit of the whole living organism.
A difference in the composition of the Protoplasm will produce a change in the composition and nature of "THE 3 GERMINAL LAYERS", thereby leading to a difference in “THE FORM & NATURE" of the various organs and systems that develop from it. This is why we find so many different species of animals and plants on this Earth.
All Human beings obey the natural laws. As long as these laws are obeyed by the body, its’ bearer is healthy, happy and is free from all diseases. As soon as this state of perfect balance or "HOMEOSTASIS" is disturbed it gives rise to diseases.
All the human diseases, physical, mental and spiritual can be traced to changes in the "THREE GERMINAL LAYERS -ECTODERM, MESODERM and ENDODERM". These "THREE" variables are identified in Holistic Medicine and are described by their propounders in different terms in different places and time.

EMBRYOLOGY- GENESIS OF LIFE
KEY WORDS: cell, tissue, organs, system, embryo, fetus, GERMINAL LAYERS,   ECTODERM, MESODERM,    ENDODERM.
Embryology gives an insight as to how from a single small one cell (Zygote) a human being develops having billions of cells. From the cells ---> tissues --->organs ----> systems are formed. Various systems function in perfect harmony. Most of the changes occur during first 2 months (embryonic stage). From 3rd month till birth it is known as fetus.
Male                    Female
Testis                               ovary
Sperm                     Ova
= Zygote
Unicellular Zygote ----> cell division ----> 3 germinal layers ------> 1)Ectoderm 2) Mesoderm 3) Endoderm ----> tissues ----> organs --> systems -----> human being.
According to Dr. Sheldon there are three basic body builds which develop from the three embryonic germinal layers, which are:
              1. Ectoderm
               2. Mesoderm
              3. Endoderm.
1. Ectoderm is the outermost layer from which our skin including its pigment cells, sweat glands, sebaceous glands, parotids, lachrymal glands, breast, pituitary, adrenal medulla, hair, nails, enamel of teeth, lens of teeth, brain and nervous system are developed.
2.. Mesoderm, the middle or second layer gives rise to bone, cartilage, connective tissue,  kidneys, generative organs and  all muscles- smooth, striated and cardiac. Thus mesoderm gives strength to our body structure.
3. Endoderm,  the inner or third layer gives rise to digestive system, liver, pancreas, intestinal glands, parathyroid, thyroid, thymus and inner lining epithelia (endothelium) of most of the internal organs.
All the tissues are derived from one or more of these “THREE” germinal layers.  Generally these germinal layers grow equally; therefore, an average person has equal amounts of these components. Most of the tissues and organs of the body receive contributions from more than one germ layer. But dominance of one germinal layer over the other two is expressed as a distinct “physical and mental” entity. Thus from the “THREE” germinal layers “THREE BASIC BODY TYPES OF PERSONS" with distinct and unique "PHYSICAL AND MENTAL PROPERTIES" come into being. An in depth study of each type reveals, all belonging to a particular group have common basic traits by which they can be identified easily. Quantitative and qualitative differences give rise to infinite numbers of individuals. Dominance of one germinal layer over the rest gives rise to a particular type of Body Build. All the human beings of a particular Body Type have some common physical andmental characteristics, further development of which in response to  external environment makes each individual UNIQUE.

6 to 10 --Kapha Period
10 to 2 --Pitta Period
2 to 6 -- Vata Period

Vata, Pitta and Kapha are symbolic. They are the three archetype Chemistry of thr body. Taking Car as analogy Vata is the Air flow to the chamber, Kapha is raw petrol/diesel/ any fuel; fire is the spark from the plug. Till these three are tuned the car runs and functions smoothly.
We human being inhale Air through nose, take food and liquid, thereafter these to are digested in the GI tract first, than at cell level the digestion is completed. These three functions are known as Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Vata regulates Pitta and Kapha. they are in dynamic equilibrium. when equilibrium is broken we suffer from diseases i.e. dis + ease.
